Last night saw the final event of the 2007 "50th Anniversary" celebrations of the Lovell telescope at Jodrell Bank.
Another successful evening at Delamere Forest Park Visitor Centre.

The front cleared Manchester in the early evening and with the Moon not rising till late it offered an excellent chance to catch the comet.
This February new Moon period has been very productive. Five dark sky observing sessions with some good clear conditions.
I wasn’t going to write up anything about this trip. I’m sure people have heard enough from me by now however...
